We began supporting Shauna from a case management perspective in 2018. Shauna sustained a spinal cord injury (incomplete paraplegia) following a Road Traffic Accident. We became involved with Shauna in the very early stages of her recovery, initially meeting with her whilst she was still undergoing her inpatient rehabilitation on the spinal unit at James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough. We arranged for a full multidisciplinary team to begin working with Shauna, comprising physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and psychology.  We have also supported Shauna with all aspects of accommodation, care, equipment & vehicle provision. Shauna has progressed so much over the years and her determined and positive outlook has enabled her to achieve so much! She is now successfully running a party planning business and continues to be a fantastic mum to her son, Carter and daughter, Vienna. It goes without saying that Shauna has and continues to be an absolute privilege to support!
