Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd began supporting Chris from a case management perspective in 2021. Chris suffered a SCI following an accident, resulting in C6 Tetraplegia. Prior to his injury, Chris was working full time at Land Rover, in addition to setting up his own business in the car valeting/detailing industry. Chris completed his inpatient rehabilitation at Oswestry and then commenced an intensive rehabilitation placement at STEPS in Sheffield. Olivia and the team at SICM have supported Chris with all aspects of his rehab, care, equipment and accommodation. He has worked with a specialist neuro physiotherapist and occupational therapist over the past few years. Chris has made fantastic progress in all therapy disciplines and continues to push forward and put 100% into his ongoing rehabilitation.

Chris has taken many holidays abroad since his injury, travelling to Marbella, Barcelona and more recently, to Japan to attend a famous car drifting event which he absolutely loved! Chris is still very involved in the car, drifting and racing world…he has continued to travel extensively both in the UK and overseas, spending time at Silverstone and many other well-known racing tracks. He has also had his own vehicles adapted allowing him to continue with what he is truly passionate about. Chris has built up a great relationship with his care team and a couple of years ago, welcomed a new addition to his family…Barney, his lovely Golden Retriever! It goes without saying that we are all extremely proud of Chris and his progress made. We feel honored to have had the opportunity to support Chris and be part of his journey. Chris has always adopted a positive, strong and resilient mindset and has pushed through the setbacks along the way. He is such an inspirational young man, and we are sure there is a lot more to come on Chris’s next ventures ahead!
