Layth

Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd began supporting Layth from a case management perspective in 2021. Layth suffered a spinal cord injury resulting in T11/12 complete paraplegia following an accident whilst out riding his bike. Olivia & Glynis first met with Layth at his home in Newcastle and together, they put a plan in place to ensure all Layth’s needs were met to support with his ongoing rehabilitation & care.

Layth began working with a specialist neuro physiotherapist, psychologist, and occupational therapist. Support was also offered with the recruitment of a rehabilitation assistant in addition to equipment trials/demos and longer-term vehicle provision.

Over the years, Layth has worked exceptionally hard in all areas of his ongoing rehabilitation. He has explored lots of new hobbies, interests, and activities such as wheelchair rugby, kayaking and flying lessons!

Layth has also taken many holidays abroad both independently and with his wife and young family. Layth hasn’t let his injury stop him and has always pushed forward with a positive and resilient approach.

From a CM perspective, we are extremely proud of Layth, the progress he has made over the years and feel honored to have supported throughout his recovery journey.
