Adaptations & Equipment

Most clients will require equipment and some type of adaptation to their permanent or temporary home

Adaptations for a home after a spinal cord injury

Most clients will require some type of adaptation to their permanent or temporary home. This may range from supplying ramps to access the property, widening doors, adapting a bathroom or it may be a full extension and adaptation whereby the services of an architect may be required and planning permission sought. On the larger projects the legal team will usually instruct the architect. On small projects the case manager may be required to assist the client to source workmen and apply to the local council for building regulations.

Grants may be required from the local authority and full assistance from the Case Manager will be provided.
